Heron's Nest Cottages

The Fall Fair in Charlo is a great festival for the entire family.  There is a lot of entertainment, a parade, a farmer's market and activities for the kids.  Come out an enjoy the fall colors and Charlo's hospitality and join the Fall Fair in 2008.

The Bon Ami Festival is Dalhousie's largest festival.  It 's a popular time to organize famlily reunions so that out of town guests can also enjoy this wonderful festival.

Many events are on the program, here are a few exemples: a gigantic beach party, farmer's market, parade, sporting events, music, lobster dinner and one of the best fireworks display in Atlantic Canada.

The festival site is about 10 minutes from the Heron's Nest Cottages.

The summer festival in Charlo is the Summer Splash which is held on the beach.  You have direct access to the site from our cottages.  This festival has something to please everyone: entertainment, beach volleyball, activities for the kids and a swim across the Bay of Chaleur.

The 12th annuel Baie des Chaleurs International Chamber Music Festival offers a series of intimate grand concerts, cinema and young audience concerts.  On stage you will find the follwing international recognized artists:  Alain Lefèvre, Quartetto Gelato, Gabriel Thibodeau, Pantaèdre, Beethovan revisited by science with Lucille Ouellette and friends, Cantabile: The London Quartet.
